Come to Kroger to taste these great products:

  • Hickory Farms Honey Gold Spiral Sliced Ham.  (Find in Meat Dept. with other hams.)  Ready to eat.  You can warm it and even make a glaze. 
  • Serve withPrivate SelectionFrozen Whole Baby Carrots dotted with Kroger Butter. 
  • Accompany with your favorite Goiya wine from South Africa.
  • For dessert (or after-school snacks), make Peanut Butter Squares. See recipe below.

Connie's Cornflake
Cookies

ingredients

Cups of sugar
1/4 Cup of dark Karo syrup
Cups Skippy Natural creamy peanut butter
6 Cups corn flakes

directions

Butter a 13 x 9 pan & set aside.  Pour corn flakes into a large bowl & set aside.  Heat syrup & sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.  Add peanut butter, blend until creamy, and pour over corn flakes.  MIX QUICKLY and pour mixture into the buttered pan, pressing evenly.  Cut into squares while warm.  Let cookies set before taking out of the pan.

Come to Kroger to taste these great products:

  • Serve Harvest Turkey Salad made with Jennie-O Boneless Turkey Breast.  (Find with other frozen turkeys.)  It goes right from freezer to oven and cooks in about 2 hours.  Each breast serves 6-8.  Comes with a pop-up timer and a gravy packet.  No carving and no mess!
  • Terrific with your favorite Goiya wine.

Harvest Turkey Salad

ingredients

4 cups sliced Jennie-O cooked turkey
1 TBS Private Selection Orange Blossom Honey
1 cup Kroger walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup celery, sliced across stalks
2/3 cup Kroger dried cranberries
1 medium red apple, chopped
3/4 cup Hellman's Mayonnaise (any flavor)

directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and chill until serving.

December 21-23 chef demos. 
Come to Kroger to taste these great products:

  • Perdue Boneless Chicken Breast (New!) seasoned with Neilly's Ultimate Seasonings – an exotic, all-natural  combination of fresh herbs and vegetables that bring the true taste of Africa to your table. 
  • For a fast, easy dinner, heat a skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.  Add Private Selection Extra Virgin Olive Oil and swirl to coat.  Sauté chicken 1 minute per side, lower heat to low and cook until almost done (2-3 minutes), turning once or twice.  Brush chicken with Neilly's
  • Ultimate Seasoning and cook 1 minute.  Turn chicken over, brush the other side with Neilly's, and cook 1 more minute or until done. 
  • Serve with Country Crock Mashed Sweet Potatoes (in Meat Dept.) sprinkled with some Private Selection Ground Cinnamon.
  • Accompany with a Key West Salad (Recipe below).
  • With dessert, serve your favorite Christopher Bean Coffee.  Chose from 6 terrific flavors.

Key West Salad

(Serves 4-6)

ingredients

  bag Kroger Popeye Spinach
1 box strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 cup Private Selection Crumbled Feta Cheese
1/4 cup Kroger walnuts, toasted
1/2 cup (or to taste) Wish-bone
1/4 Raspberry Hazelnut Dressing

directions

Toss all salad ingredients, top with cooked chicken and serve.

  • Your favorite Bertolli Frozen Dinner (In Frozen Foods with other dinners.)  A complete dinner for 2 that's ready in 10 minutes.
  • For that New Year's Party (or football the next day), make a Creamy Salsa Dip to serve with 
  • Kroger Tortilla Chips. 

Creamy Salsa Dip

directions

Mix together 1 cup each: Private Selection Restaurant Style Salsa and Hellman's Mayonnaise.  Serve with Kroger Tortilla Chips.
