Box fresh strawberries, rinsed, green tops removed, and sliced |
| 1/2 |
Cup Kroger chopped walnuts |
| 1/4 |
Cup Private Selection crumbled blue or feta cheese |
| 1/2 |
Cup (or to taste) Private Selection |
| 1 |
Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing |
As with any recipe, you can increase or decrease ingredients or cook time to suit your own tastes.
Toss all ingredients together and serve.
Serving suggestion: Serve as a side salad or top with grilled salmon or chicken for a fast, healthy meal.
CHEF’S NOTE: Mâche, sometimes called lambs tongue or corn salad, has a sweet, nutty flavor, bright green color, and wonderful texture. It has been popular in Europe for centuries and is now grown in the US. Mâche is an excellent source of vitamins A & C, Folic Acid, Iron and Omega 3’s. Use it in any salad calling for Spring mix, mixed salad greens, or spinach.
