Shrimp Scampi

Lb. bag medium size (26-30 count) Private Selection® Key West Shrimp, thawed, peeled, & deveined

2

Tablespoons Private Selection® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4

Cup Columbia Crest Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc

1

Tablespoon Neilly's Ultimate Seasonings – Mild  (found with Condiments)

1/4

Cup Kroger heavy whipping cream

 

Salt and pepper, to taste

As with any recipe, you can increase or decrease ingredients or cook time to suit your own tastes.

directions

  • Heat a large non-stick skillet over med-high heat for one minute.  Meanwhile, pat shrimp dry with paper towels.  Add the olive oil to the hot pan, swirl to coat the pan, and add the shrimp.   Cook, stirring, a minute or so until shrimp just start to turn pink. 
  • Remove pan from heat and add the wine.  Cook about 30 seconds, stirring.
  • Return pan to MED-LOW heat and add the Neilly's Ultimate Seasoning (Mild) and heavy cream to the pan.  Stir to mix the sauce and coat the shrimp.  Serve immediately, over angel hair pasta, if desired.
