Italian Pasta Delight In a Red Wine Pepper Sauce

Serves 4
1 Tablespoon Private Selection® Olive Oil
½ Bell pepper, diced small
1 Jimmy Dean® regular roll sausage (12.oz package)  
¼ Cup McWilliams® Merlot wine
2 Cups of your favorite Private Selection® Pasta Sauce
1 Pound Private Selection® bow tie pasta cooked to package directions and drained
  1. Heat a large skillet over med-high heat for one minute.  Add the oil to the pan and swirl to coat.  Add the diced bell pepper and sauté for two minutes.
  2. Add the Jimmy Dean sausage to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until just done.  Drain off any excess fat and return skillet to burner.
  3. Add the Private Selection pasta sauce and simmer for 2 minutes.  Add the cooked and drained Private Selection Bow Tie pasta and stir coat the pasta well.    

Serve immediately with a glass of your favorite McWilliams wine and Sara Lee Whole Grain White Bread.
