Bronzed Quail with Apple Walnut Stuffing 2 Thawed Quail, seasoned with salt and pepper
1 peeled and finely diced granny smith apple
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
4 tablespoons Vigo bread crumbs
1 tablespoon apple brandy (optional)
1 tablespoon raisins
2 tablespoons apple cider (or juice)
1 tablespoon Bella Olive Oil Preheat oven to 365 degrees. In a large bowl mix ingredients 2 through 6 and stuff quail. Heat a large All-Clad skillet over med-high heat for one minute before adding olive Oil. Sear the quail on all sides until golden brown (about 5 minute). Place quail on a baking sheet and finish in the oven for 8-10 minutes (or until done). Do not overcook. |
