Bronzed Alaska Flounder
With A Smooth Lager Sauce

Serves 2
2 Treasures of the Sea® Alaska Flounder Fillets (or cod or Pollock), thawed
1 Tablespoon Private Selection Extra Virgin olive oil
1/4 Teaspoon (or to taste) your favorite seafood seasoning (Old Savannah, Cajun’s Choice, etc.)
1/4 cup Samuel Adams® Lager
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon Private Selection capers (drained)

  • Heat a large skillet over med-high heat for one minute. Add the oil to the pan and swirl to coat. Season the Alaska flounder fillets with the seafood seasoning and sear for one minute per side. Reduce the heat to low and turn fillets every minute until just done.
  • Remove the fillets from the pan and place on serving plates.
  • Return the skillet to med-high heat and add the Samuel Adams® lager. Simmer the beer until almost completely evaporated. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the butter until melted and smooth. Add the capers and pour sauce over fillets and serve.  Enjoy with a glass of  Samuel Adams® lage

Enjoy!
