
Bronzed Sea Scallops
With Butter Wine Glaze
Serves 2
10 Kroger Sea Scallops
1 tablespoons Kroger Olive Oil
Cajuns Choice Creole or Blackened seasoning - to taste
¼ cup Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay Wine
1 tablespoon Kroger butter
Heat a large non-stock skillet over med-high heat for one minute. In the mean time, season the scallops to taste with a little of the Cajun's Choice seasoning. Add the oil to the hot pan and swirl to coat. Add the seasoned scallops, and sear for 2 minutes per side. Turn the heat to low and turn the scallops every minute until center is just done (about 3 minutes). Add the butter and wine. Simmer until liquid has evaporated (about one minute). Serve immediately with Peppered Couscous (recipe available on our web site below).
