Alaska King Crab with Orzo,
Pasta and Feta

Serves 4
10 Ounces orzo (rice-shaped pasta)
2 Tablespoon butter
1 Pound Fresh Alaska King Crab, removed from shell
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon dried basil
3 Medium tomatoes, seeded, chopped
4-6 Ounces crumbled feta cheese
1 Tablespoon Robert Mondavi Private Selection Sauvignon Blanc
1 Tablespoon fresh basil, minced
- Make orzo according to package directions (takes about 6 minutes after water boils).
- Meanwhile, in large non-stick skillet, melt butter over high heat. Add the fresh Alaska King Crab that has been cut into 1-inch pieces, salt, and dried basil. Cook for 30 seconds to warm up the crab.
- Add tomatoes and wine and continue to cook about 30 seconds, stirring.
- Remove skillet from heat. Drain orzo and it and feta to shrimp mixture. Toss to mix. Top with fresh chopped basil and serve.
