Shrimp Orzo

Serves 4
10 Ounces Private Selection Orzo (rice shaped pasta)
3 Tablespoon Kroger butter
1 Pound Kroger fresh Shrimp, shelled and deveined
½ Teaspoon salt
½ Teaspoon Kroger dry thyme
3 Medium tomatoes, seeded, chopped
3 tablespoons Trinity Oaks Chardonnay
4-6 Ounces Private Selection feta cheese
1 tablespoon CIBO basil pesto

  1. Make orzo according to package directions (takes about 6 minutes after water boils).
  2. Meanwhile, in large non-stick skillet, melt butter over high heat.  Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and dried basil.  Cook 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until shrimp just turn pink.
  3. Add tomatoes and wine and cook about 30 seconds, stirring.
  4. Remove skillet from heat.  Drain orzo and add it and feta to shrimp mixture. Add the CIBO basil pesto and toss to mix.


Serve with Trinity Oaks Chardonnay
